Poudre Pub Talk: "Erosion, Sediment, and Wood, Oh My!" @ Mighty River Brewing | Loveland | Colorado | United States

As part of an on-going series, the Poudre Heritage Alliance is presenting monthly educational pub talks at local establishments throughout Northern Colorado. For the June 11th Pub Talk at Mighty River Brewing, Johannes Beeby, Senior Hydrologist for Stillwater Sciences, will be highlighting how the restoration work at River Bluffs Open Space near Windsor is changing the perception of what a healthy Poudre River can look like. Johannes, an avid fly fishermen, will go on to explain how these types of projects benefit fish, wildlife, and other parts of a “working river” like the Cache la Poudre.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP via Facebook by clicking here. Mighty River will be offering beer specials during the night of the pub talk, and part of the proceeds from the evening will benefit the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area. Thanks so much for your support!

The Poudre Heritage Alliance is hosting a series of FREE Poudre Pub Talks on a recurring basis at locations across Northern Colorado, featuring guest speakers talking about a range of subjects related to “good water.” For the full Pub Talk listing, go here.
